There's a pretty good rule of thumb when it comes to deciding whether something is ethical: "How would I feel if it were done to me?"

I guess in this instance, you could ask yourself which you would prefer... to be enslaved in a dungeon and killed at a young age, to be shot with a high powered rifle and killed instantly, to be shot with a bow and arrow and mortally wounded then die seconds or minutes later from the wound or to be left alone to live your life as you see fit without someone seeing you as a 'resource' rather than a person in your own right.

I know which I'd choose...
