Thanks for your reply (and the claps) . What I actually said was "over a million" not "millions". To be clear, this is a review of a documentary. This is not my figure - I'm quoting the film.
I don't think it's suggested that they killed this many animals every day, just on 'special days'.
It's a mind blowing figure nonetheless.
