Thanks for the tips. They're obviously working for you. I suspect the highlighting probably works better than the claps, since fewer people highlight and it's more likely to stand out to the writer.

I also suspect that leaving a comment is even more likely to get the writer's attention and more likely to lead to a follow-back. Replies are a lot more time-consuming than claps or highlights, but I think a decent, thoughtful and respectful reply is more likely to result in someone following you than claps and highlights put together.
