Thank you for this article. I've been floundering around on Medium for a little while now trying to glean tips from various Medium articles and Youtube videos but I hadn't realised how important the social element is on Medium.

That's kind of a radical shift for me and an exciting one at that. I've been getting tired of Twitter lately, with it seeming too busy and frenetic, while at the same time too shallow difficult to get any real engagement.

I had planned to use my Twitter platform to send readers to my Medium articles but relatively few people on Twitter seem to be interested in longer pieces - I guess that's why they're on Twitter lol

Anyway, I'm sensing I will be spending a lot more time over here from now on than over there. Congratulations on your early success, Graeme and I look forward to reading more of your writing.
