Over the past couple of months, I've started to see a significant increase in my Medium income. Nowhere near enough to live on, but enough to give me hope that it could become a significant addition to my main job.

The thing is, though, I've done this by writing thoughts and commentary on subjects which don't necessarily translate into products. People are reading my stories because something in them resonates, not because my writing solves a problem or helps them to do something.

I'd love to build an email list and make sales through ebooks, courses, etc. but it's not congruent with my writing style or content.
