Oh, the frustration of having to minutely adjust the volume dial to get it just right, then waiting 10 minutes watching those little yellow-and-blue or blue-and-red lines and listening to the infernal racket, only to have it fail to load in the last few seconds!

Still, spent endless hours playing games on there. I recently found an exact playable replica of Manic Miner online (I think that was a 48k game so you might not remember it) and to my surprise and delight I went straight through the first few levels on autopilot using little more than muscle memory, my fingers still remembering the route and moves after 40 years! That's a testament to the impact these little machines had on our lives :)
