Not being able to communicate with someone does not give you the moral right to enslave, exploit or kill them for your own convenience. I have already covered this in the article - it is exactly the argument that slavers used about other races who didn't speak the same language.
As for bees, bumble bees, especially, will communicate quite clearly before stinging. They will first raise a leg. If you persist in threatening them, they will raise two or more legs. They will increase their buzzing and may even flip over onto their backs and present their stinger. The fact that you cannot understand this communication is not a moral issue, it's a communication issue.
Nevertheless, I find it interesting that you gave insects as an example, rather than higher mammals, whom we can very much communicate with.
