Like you, I've long been tempted to start writing on Substack because of all the hype, but those people hyping it up seem to be markerters as much as they are writers.

I'm not a salesman - I just want to write and make some money from it, and so far I haven't found a better platform on which to do that than Medium.

I'd like to publish more articles here on Medium but I can only write so much. If I could write enough extra content to run a Substack newsletter, I'd rather publsih it here.
