In 2008 I was working for a chainsaw dealer. Given my history of environmental activism, tree-sitting and digger-diving, I felt a bit like Jesus making crosses. Anyway, when the owner of the business was having a day-off and his son was running the show, we'd listen to Adam and Joe on Radio 6 music. I remember one day they featured a caller who was talking about this weird platform we'd never heard of called Twitter. When asked what she did on there, she said she mainly posted pictures of her dinner. It was one of the most bizarre concepts I'd ever heard, and the hosts of the show were as incredulous as I was. Little did we all know how things would turn out...
