I'm so sorry to hear that your diet screwed up your health. Obviously there was something you were missing or something you were eating too much of, and that sucks.

But to claim that meat, fish and eggs are essential to human health when there are literally millions of people like myself thriving without any of those things is a bit blinkered. I've been vegan nearly fifty years - there are people I know who've been vegan much longer and are also thriving.

We know (because nutritional science has proved it) that 'meat' eggs and milk cause all sorts of major health issues - obesity, diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular disease and that a plant-based or vegan diet can be much healthier. We can get everything we need from a plant-based diet, so to claim we need meat, fish and eggs is just plain wrong.

And there’s nothing ‘natural’ about drinking the breast-milk of another species.

In fact, I’d suggest that much of the reason why so few people are prepared to ditch animal flesh to save themselves and life on earth as we know it is precisely because of this kind of misleading rhetoric.
