If you tell people that they are God, they will worship you. If you say YOU are God, people will crucify you. Except nowadays they're not allowed to crucify you so they kill you slowly with pharmaceuticals. Manny's tragic story reminds me of the story of Phil Russell A.K.A. Wally Hope, whose story was told in a pamphlet titled 'Last of the Hippes'.
