I love the idea of having a large email list, writing regular emails and making a living from it, but I'm not sure about painting this as an alternative to SEO. Sure, there are other ways to build an email list but as you said yourself, you were able to add hundreds of subscribers a day but only because you were so successful with the SEO.

I'd love to read more from you about how to actually build an email list for those of us with tiny lists
