I don't think you've read the thread, have you? I didn't choose the term animal flesh to browbeat her, I used it instinctively because that's what it is and that is how I am accustomed to referring to it. I wonder if you would have the same advice for a feminist who didn't use the same word that a misogynist used in a conversation? If someone habitually refers to women as 'bitches', do you think feminists should also use that word so as not to make the misogynist feel uncomfortable?

Animals are not 'meat' and to perpetuate the idea that they are helps no-one.
