How to Find Friends on Bluesky

A quick guide to relocating those you were following on 𝕏

It’s been three weeks since I wrote about my move from 𝕏 to Bluesky and my reasons for doing it.

I wasn’t the only one. There has been a mass exodus from Elon Musk’s social media platform for multiple reasons. You can read about some of them here:

At the time I wrote that article, Bluesky was growing by a million users a day. It currently has over 24 million, increasing by one user every second.

People are loving it. There’s a feeling among many Bluesky users of a new-found sense of freedom and community without Musk’s oppressive and discriminatory algorithm and without all the constant negativity from trolls and bots.

It’s a bit like Twitter used to be back in the day, before Space Karen bought it and ruined it.
