Here’s the Real Reason You’re Not Vegan

And it’s not what people think

I’m going to assume you’re not vegan.

I think that’s a fair assumption — the majority of people aren’t.

People have their own reasons:

  • It’s too expensive
  • It’s not healthy
  • Eating meat is natural
  • People have always eaten animals
  • Humans are top of the food chain
  • Animals were created for us to eat
  • Animals eat other animals
  • I don’t eat much meat
  • I only eat free-range

These are all popular arguments, but do they really stand up to scrutiny?

Truth is, any vegan will demolish all those arguments in about three minutes flat.

I know that’s probably not what you wanted to hear, so let’s take a quick look at these arguments and why they won’t hold up if you’re ever in a debate with a hardcore vegan.

“It’s too expensive”

It’s often said that veganism is a privileged position and that vegan foods are more costly than non-vegan foods.
