Have you watched the documentary yourself?
I suppose the issue is that to an outsider like me there is so much that the church says or does which does not seem to be in alignment with what we are told about Jesus. A film like Christspiracy comes along and, while it leaves a lot of questions unanswered and certainly isn't a rigorous academic work, it seems to provide a lot of answers to some of these questions. If even half of what they claim in the documentary is true, then it raises serious questions about glaring omissions in terms of the Bible and, yes, the church's teachings.
I feel this is something the church (and its representatives) would do well to be looking into, researching and seriously addressing.
Sarcastic one-liners don't make the church look good, or answer any of our concerns. I'd be genuinely interested in reading your comments on the issues raised in the film.
