Are Animal Rights Activists Terrorists?
Addressing the animal exploitation industry’s lies and propaganda
It’s a well-known image — the menacing animal liberation ‘terrorists’ wearing ski masks and striking fear into the hearts of good people who are ‘just doing their jobs’.
For many people, when they think of the term ‘animal rights activists’ this image of so-called ‘terrorists’ is what comes to mind. In fact, the title of this article, “Are Animal Rights Activists Terrorists?” is actually one of the most widely searched phrases on Google in relation to the term ‘animal rights’.
Which is both tragically sad, and a testament to the vast amount of negative propaganda promulgated over the years by those private companies, government agencies, mass media and individuals who have a vested interest in perpetuating the imprisonment, torture, abuse and killing of billions of non-human animals every year.
It’s also incredibly ironic.
For those who profit from animal abuse and exploitation, it is a convenient lie that animal rights activists are terrorists — a lie that conveniently suites their own agendas. The truth is that the overwhelming majority of animal rights activists are peaceful, non-violent, ordinary people who simply care about justice, exploitation and abuse enough…
