Absolutely. Even (or especially) in a recession, when property prices are rock bottom, poor people don't generally have the option of buying property. It's not a case of people remaining poor because they don't choose to invest in property, or they don't have the knowledge, while those who do choose to invest become rich. It's more a case of those with money who choose to invest it in real assets can become wealthier while those on the bottom rungs are trapped in poverty. Perhaps it should have been called Rich Dad, Moderately Comfortable Financially Dad.
Especially if the dad's weren't even real 😂
