As someone who’s been vegan for 35 years, I’ve faced my fair share of hurdles and challenges along the way, so I know that it isn’t always easy to stay true to your principles.

The good news is, after all these years, I’m still vegan and I’m here to show you that those challenges can be overcome. More than that, I want to show you 6 habits that highly successful vegans use to help them stay on course, overcome the obstacles and temptations along the way and stay vegan in a non-vegan world.

Armed with these six habits you can stay strong and stay vegan, not just as a passing fad or a failed ideal, but for the rest of your long and healthy life!

1) Learn About Health and Nutrition

One of the biggest reasons people give for abandoning their vegan ideals is some health problem or other which they attribute to being vegan.

YouTube, for example, is full of people claiming that being vegan gave them acne, made them feel tired all the time, made them lose weight, made them gain weight, gave them bloat or whatever.
